This workshop is a two-day intensive study of oil painting. All skill levels are welcome, as Leslie will be working one-on-one with students for the majority of the workshop.
This course will provide greater insight into oils as a medium, as well as fundamentals such as composition, drawing, value, color and edges. We’ll also cover strategies to arrange your still life.
Leslie will bring her own unique aesthetic and explain how she combines the fundamentals of painting to create pieces that are unique, simple and full of life.
Each morning Leslie will do a group painting demonstration. Following each painting demonstration, the students will set up still life compositions of their own and paint them from life, while receiving one-on-one instruction.
